The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

  • Copyright, design rights and intellectual property on this website are owned by Shards' Memories Jewellery Etc. You must gain prior consent if you wish to use the website imagery for any reason, and if you wish to share any contents, you should do it linking it directly to the website.

  • Prices and information published on the site are subject to change without notice.

  • Please note that colours may vary from those displayed in product images, depending of your screen definitions.

Payment Terms

​

  • Online orders - Payments can be made through Paypal, debit/credit card and bank account transfer (option Manual on checkout includes bank account details).

  • Bespoke orders - A 50% deposit is required before starting a project, to cover for design work and order for necessary non-stocked materials. Payment of the total balance is due before dispatch, you will receive an email with information as soon as the order is finished to arrange the final payment and shipping.

 

For all purchases, you will receive a confirmation email as soon as you have placed your order or make a payment.

Shipping Policy & Delivery Times

 

Orders to the UK will be shipped through Royal Mail Tracked, international shipping are limited to certain countries, through Royal Mail Tracked/Standard, the charge will depend on the shipping destination (please refer to table below). Shipping is free on orders above £100.00. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. If you prefer an alternative postage option, please email us before placing your order, so that we can offer you alternatives.

Pieces in stock, available to be ordered on the website will be dispatched in 1-3 business days, after order is placed and payment received. This also applies to bespoke orders, after production period. You will receive an email with your shipping reference once the item has been posted.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

 

We are not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during/after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)

Damages & Delivery Delays

​

We are not liable either for any products damaged/lost during shipping, or for shipping delays.

​

  • Damaged/lost in transit - Packaging is made to properly protect your piece of jewellery, but if you still received your order damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. Save all packaging material to prove your claim. Get in touch with us regarding the damaged piece, to organise its return for repair.

  • Delivery delays - The above mentioned delivery times are the times aimed by Royal Mail, and with current measures put in place related to Covid-19, deliveries might take longer than expected. If you need to make sure you receive your order before a specific date and you prefer to use a different delivery provider, please contact us by email

Privacy Policy (gdpr)

All personal details you provide will not be shared in any way. Information collected has the sole purpose of fulfilling any orders placed through the site (to process payment, shipping information and communicate with you) or bespoke orders.

 

If you give permission, your email will be used to send you future product info or marketing (discount vouchers, sales, etc), when you subscribe to our email list. We will maintain your Order Information on record unless and until you request us to delete this information.

Repairs Policy / Guarantee

​

Any item purchased through the online store, or bespoke piece, will have a lifetime guarantee. Because I wish you to enjoy the pieces you purchase for a long time, and I stand behind the quality of my creations, I'm happy to provide repairs due to breakage or damage; free of charge for 1 month from the date of shipping. After that period, repairs or changes (e.g. chain lengthening) will have a charge, quoted upon your request, plus the cost of additional materials. In any of the above situations, shipping costs will have to be supported by you.

Returns / Refunds Policy

​

Please contact: shardsmemoriesjewellery@gmail.com if you consider to return a piece you have purchased online, to organise the return, and please do let us know why you are not happy with it, as our customers happiness is paramount.

​

  • Online store purchases – If you are unhappy with any item you have purchased online, you may return it within 28 days of receipt.

​

  • Bespoke pieces – Because these pieces are special orders, meaning they will be made and customised especially for you, they cannot be returned for a refund. You can only send back a bespoke piece to be reworked, after discussion, please refer to our Bespoke page for more details.

​

In any circumstances, refunds upon receipt of the piece will be to the original method of purchase, and will not include any shipping costs. If you prefer, refunds can be used as shopping credit (please inform which option you choose by email).

​

You will be notified via email once the return is processed, please allow 3-5 working days to reflect on your statement.

​
